dc.description.abstract By and large ‘anthropocentricism’ has been controlled everything and developed an episteme and given secondary status to other beings ‘Emancipation of only human being’ taken for granted and “emancipation of all the beings” never considered as a fact. This narrow episteme brought chaos due to the imbalance in natural eco system after a point in history. The time has come to rethink about life related to all being community. The research problem is what would be an authentic ethics for the emancipation of all beingsincludinghumanity? Howdopeoplechallengethedominationofanthropocentricism? This research study is a qualitative case study of activists and ordinary people in Sri Lanka who apply critical consciousness in their activities and life. In this qualitative case study research, there were interviews, Critical analysis in Praxis approach. Prevailing ‘Christology and ethics under the domination of Anthropocentricism’ is not relevant to the emancipation of ALL BEINGS including humanity. Colonization was the tragedy which made Asian humans to separate themselves from other living beings and the ‘nonliving beings’ from all rest of the creation. What I propose, is more inclusive praxis-based networks go beyond “anthropocentricism” to all living being which certainly include humanity. Affirmation of life should be a basic component in ethics. Individualism, anthropocentricism, patriarchy, racism, casteism and so on have been a problem which destroy not only human but also all beings. Democracy, morality and so on never get importance in neoliberal episteme. The multiple neo liberal mechanisms we have is ‘individualism, consumerism... and so on’ which are based on evil structures which use to take number of avatars today? An appropriate example from Sri Lanka is “online safety bill” which assault right of expression and restrict rights of freedom. By and large the tendency of Liberation Ethics has been maintained as “liberation’, beyond any doubt, but most of the thinking was fully anthropocentric and exclusively Christianity oriented. Though the cosmic thinking was there at the end it was only for the sake of human liberation. An alternate perspective, what I propose is the preferential option for the “All Beings Community”. Through this I demand a paradigm shift from the ‘anthropocentric’ to the ‘cosmocentric’ and the ‘individualistic’ to the ‘community’. It is appropriate to mention that ‘the preferential option for the “Other”’ in the perspective of Enrique Dussel’s and Emmanuel Levinas’s “Others” based ethics, the first philosophy have been a paradigm shift which affirm emancipation of vulnerable human. But I want to propose that there is a need to ‘opt for a preferential option for the “Other Being”’ which also includinghumanity, todevelopanauthenticemancipationforallbeyondanthropocentricism (Eco Ethical Emancipation). An Eco-Ethical-Emancipation (EEE)’ is something very appropriate. When all realized that nature, plants, animals, birds… are our relatives there will be harmony and that will create a natural resistance against evil. en_US
