Abstract:
Tirupukal is one of the most devotional musical forms in Tamil music. This
devotional musical form sticks with some musical elements in inseparable. This
musical elements take precedence than praising and worshiping the Lord through
chanting. Arunagirinathar, who appeared in the 8th century AD and taught Murugan
to chant, is credited with introducing the chant to the Tamil music world. Arunagiri
is better known as ‘Chandappavalar Peruman’. No one created like it as he used the
chants in his Thiruppugalz. But some of the Musi cal personalities who originated
this musical style in Tamil music have followed Arunagirinathar and found success in
manipulating in their works. Although many poets have come to Tamil Nadu in this
way, other religions have taken the turning point of Arunagirinathar as the guide to
their works beyond the confines of religion. Varagasim Puluvar, a convert to Islam,
was the foremost in this regard. He also wrote literary works like Arunakiri. This
research Article try to express Vara kaasipulavar conceder arunakirinaathar as his
guide for his literary works.
