dc.description.abstract The World Health Organization declared COVID-19 as a global pandemic due to widespread the COVID-19 disease all over the world. COVID-19 virus is looking together all developed or developing countries, rich or poor. Including, Sri Lanka also can't be escaped from the spreading the COVID-19. Thus, in such a situation analyzing the impact of COVID-19 become vital. This study endeavors to examine the relationship between COVID-19 pandemic and stock market performance in Sri Lanka by using the graph. The ASPI is used to measure the stock market performance while the number of daily new COVID-19 cases and activity cases are used to find the spreading pattern of COVID-19 in Sri Lanka. Over the last decade, ASPI went worst during the COVID-19 pandemic. Indeed Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) in Sri Lanka has no escape from this COVID-19 crisis meanwhile stock market performance has been severely affected. en_US
