dc.description.abstract This study analytically discusses that how causality theory contributes to Growth of Modern philosophy? And how did David Hume refute this theory in his book an Enquiry concerning Human understanding. When we are approaching to development of philosophy, it has been developing through early Greek period, Greek Period, medieval period, modern period and postmodern period. Various philosophers used the causality theory for the developing their Philosophical thoughts and theories in modern philosophy. Particularly, from Francis Bacon to Karl Marx also used this theory. Causality theory helps to not only developing of philosophy but also developing of science. One of the empiricist philosophers in modern philosophy is David Hume, who never accepts important of causality theory to the developing of science and philosophy. Hume put forwarded his refutation to causality theory in his book an enquiry concerning human understanding. Hume determined that causality theory isn't a scientific method, which become by tradition and habits and also we never find out among their relation through senses. flume's central work of philosophy was causality research. He rejected important of causality theory in science and philosophy through his book.
