dc.description.abstract The limitations with regard to the capability of Doubly Fed Induction Generator based wind turbines arediscussed. The importance of considering the stability marginwhen constructing the capability curve was highlighted. Thenthe total power output vs the reactive power output of theturbine within its capabilities was obtained. A case study wascarried out to discuss the capability of a wind farm with regardto the Great Britain grid code requirements. en_US
